Join us as a UI/UX Designer at TeachFX TeachFX is seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to contribute to our innovative educational technology platform. This role offers the flexibility of full-time or part-time engagement, depending on your availability. Role Overview As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for designing user-centered interfaces and experiences that support teachers in improving their craft. Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, you'll work on impactful projects at the forefront of AI-driven educational tools, with significant influence as one of the first designers on our team. Responsibilities Develop artifacts including low-fidelity concepts, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs. Apply user-centered design principles to craft intuitive and impactful user experiences. Conduct rapid iterations to test and refine hypotheses about user behavior. Collaborate with research teams to understand user needs and inform design decisions. Coordinate with engineering to scope and launch products according to specifications. Work from co-working spaces in SF Bay Area (San Mateo & SF) weekly. Ideal Candidate You should have: At least 3 years of professional experience with a strong portfolio of user experiences and excellent references from teammates. Exceptional attention to detail. Proficiency in Figma. Clear verbal and written communication skills. Curiosity about UX best practices and inspiration from diverse products. Experience with rapid UI iteration, understanding layout, hierarchy, typography, and AI tools for design acceleration. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and adapt to change. Passion for our mission to serve educators and improve teaching. Nice to have: Experience with user research methodologies. Background in educational content, mobile apps, or products for teachers. Experience teaching in K-12 classrooms.
