LeverageTek is actively seeking a SharePoint Developer for a 12-month contract with its Ottawa-based customer.

Key Tasks

Developer Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Migrate and optimize SharePoint sites to the cloud.
• Determine level of effort and requirements to design, develop, test, deploy and support enterprise business solutions relating to SharePoint and SharePoint Online.
• Build new workflows using Power Automate and Power Apps.
• Perform a best effort migration of existing Nintex workflows and forms to Power Automate and Power Apps.
• Move toward no-code or low-code solutions. The resource should seek opportunities to move to configuration over customization where possible using SharePoint Online tools. The resource will rebuild server-side solutions with SPO apps.
• Determine API endpoints to enable BI to extract data from SPO.
• Develop pilot site in development and test tenant.
• Perform custom feature development if required.
• Perform site migration or rebuild if required, develop deployment scripts and migrate a subset of data.
• Build site in test tenant (migrate all data to determine expected migration times);
• Perform user acceptance testing (“ UAT ”) of migrated site one-month prior to go-live and allow time for fixes if required.
• Build the site, migrate the content and applying any configurations.
• Release site to Production (cloud tenant); and
• Perform change management activities and keep the stakeholders engaged throughout the process with open communication.

Key Qualifications

• Must have 5 years of experience developing in Power Automate and Power Apps
• Must have 5 years of experience with SharePoint 2016 development experience including configuration and permission
• Must 3 years of experience developing Nintex Workflow and Nintex Forms.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a recognized college or university with specialization in Computer Science, Information Technology/ Management, or another specialty relevant to the duties of the position.
• A minimum of three (3) years working in Azure.
