Job title: SAP FICO Consultant Job Responsibilities: Configure and customize the SAP FICO module to meet the specific financial and controlling requirements of the organization. Develop functional specifications for custom reports, enhancements, and interfaces. Work with business stakeholders to gather and document financial and controlling requirements. Analyze business processes and identify areas for improvement and optimization. Lead or participate in the implementation of SAP FICO projects, including system setup, configuration, and testing. Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful project completion. Ensure seamless integration between SAP FICO and other SAP modules such as MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales and Distribution), and PP (Production Planning). Coordinate with other module consultants to resolve cross-functional issues. Plan and execute data migration activities from legacy systems to SAP FICO. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity during the migration process. Provide training to end-users and key stakeholders on SAP FICO functionalities and best practices. Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting to resolve issues and ensure smooth system operation. Develop and maintain financial reports and dashboards to support business decision-making. Use SAP FICO reporting tools to generate financial statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements. Ensure that the SAP FICO system complies with accounting standards, financial regulations, and audit requirements. Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information. Continuously monitor and evaluate financial processes to identify opportunities for improvement. Implement best practices and process enhancements to increase efficiency and accuracy. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including configuration guides, process flows, and user manuals. Ensure that all changes and customizations are well-documented for future reference. Plan and execute system upgrades and enhancements to keep the SAP FICO system current and efficient. Test new functionalities and enhancements to ensure they meet business requirements. Degree Requirement: This position requires, at a minimum, a bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, information technology or a combination of education and experience equating to the U.S. equivalent of a Bachelor's degree in one of the aforementioned subjects.
