Job Description

Job Title: Procurement Agent Level 2/3/4

Location- San Antonio, TX (100% onsite)

Duration: 12 Months with possible extension

Shifts: Must be available to work 1st & 2nd shift

Onsite/remote/hybrid: Onsite

Level 2

Position Responsibilities:

Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply.

Prepares and executes proprietary information agreements.

Supports sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements.

Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in San Antonio.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes.

At least an Intermediate competency level in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Detail oriented, analytical, and inquisitive

Extremely organized with strong time-management skills

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor’s degree or higher

Travel:

Potential travel required (up to 5%)

Level 3

Position Responsibilities:

Integrates program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies.

Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions.

Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements.

Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management.

Manages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance.

Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

3+ years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor’s degree or higher.

3+ years of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer.

3+ years of experience in Contracts & Pricing and/or Supplier Management Procurement.

3+ years of experience interpreting and/or enforcing contract terms and conditions.

3+ years of experience with various contract types for example: Time & Materials, Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus type Government contracts, etc.

3+ years of experience working with U.S. Department of Defense contracts.

3+ years of experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations).

3+ years of experience and/or training with the Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA).

Travel:

Potential travel required (up to 5%)

Position Responsibilities:

Provides oversight and management of supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance.

Leads negotiation of pricing and contract terms and conditions.

Prepares and executes negotiation strategies resulting in contractual documents and binding agreements.

Interprets and enforces contract terms and conditions.

Consults with external customers to resolve supplier performance issues.

Leads supplier performance teams to develop strategic supplier solutions across programs and commodities.

Participates on supply chain process improvement teams and identifies improvement opportunities for potential integration into supplier contract strategies.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
