Job Description

Our client, a healthcare organization, is seeking a temporary-to-hire Patient access Center Advocate for their DC office!

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first point of contact for anyone seeking care or support.
• Answer phones, provide information, triage urgent questions, and route calls accordingly.
• Support appointment scheduling, follow-ups, and document all interactions.
• Ensure HIPAA and organizational guidelines are followed.
• Complete additional tasks and provide support as needed.

Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ years of customer service or healthcare call center experience are required.
• Knowledge of insurance and healthcare terminology is preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite; technologically savvy.
• Personable with strong problem-solving and multitasking skills.

Position Information:

• Pays $20/hr while temporary.
• Converts to a salary of $45k-$50k, depending on experience.
• Hours are 8:30am-5pm.
• 100% onsite in Anacostia, DC.
• Bus accessible.
