Job Summary:
Alluvionic is seeking a reliable and organized Administrative Assistant/Receptionist to join our team. This role is critical to the smooth functioning of daily operations and serves as the first point of contact for visitors and clients. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, and possesses excellent communication and multitasking skills. 

This role is for Friday's with the flexibility to cover additional days on short notice.

Responsibilities:
  • Greet and direct visitors in a professional and friendly manner.

  • Answer and manage incoming phone calls; route calls to appropriate personnel.

  • Maintain the reception area and ensure it is clean and welcoming at all times.

  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.

  • Schedule appointments and manage calendars for staff as needed.

  • Assist with data entry, filing, and other clerical duties.

  • Prepare correspondence, reports, and other documents as requested.

  • Order and maintain office supplies and inventory.

  • Provide administrative support to various departments as assigned.
    Ensure confidentiality of all sensitive information and documents.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or relevant certification is a plus.

  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant, receptionist, or in a similar role.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

  • Professional appearance and demeanor.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with office management systems or software (e.g., scheduling software, CRM).

  • Familiarity with basic bookkeeping or invoicing is a plus.
